Wow, what a beautiful weekend! I hope the children spent a lot of time outdoors. It was a great weekend to spend with my grandsons at the top of Loon Mountain, ahh, the pleasures of being a grandmother!
Back to work... The children will be taking the Math NECAP this week, on Tuesday and Thursday, then again on Monday of next week. They did an awesome job on the Reading portion. Of course, we don't know the scores, yet but we do know that they were using their test taking strategies.
Enrichment block starts this week. The children have been divided into groups, and will be joining children from Mrs. Swank's class for the last half hour of the day. We meet everyday and our focus will be reading.
If your child is interested in running for student council, the forms are due on Friday. They need to give a speech before the class prior to the children voting.
