Dear Parents,

On April 2, Ms Swank's class and my class will be going to the State House in Concord. In order to go on this exciting, educational field trip, we need to have a CPR certified person as a chaperone. If you are willing to go with us, please send me a note or e-mail. We also will be going to Strawberry Banke in June and will need someone for that trip too.

Many people are finding good websites for the children to practice their math facts and spelling words. If you need help with Everyday math, you can go to the Everydaymathonline.com and they will walk you through the process for partial sums, product, or quotients. We are now working with fractions and will soon be moving on to measurements.

The children are working on their Personal Narrative. Some of the stories are very emotional and have a lot of voice to them. We have gone to the Smart Room to type them, and I hope to finish that up soon.

After vacation we will start a project involving the geographical regions of the United States. This project will be done mostly in class, but may need to have some research done at home.

The school year seems to be flying by now! We have a lot to do, yet.
